Rabbi Yossi Schanowitz is the Rabbi and co-Director  at North Suburban Lubavitch Chabad ♦ Central Avenue Synagogue. 

The Rabbi has been teaching adult education for over 30 years.  Rabbi Schanowitz has the unique ability to instruct to both the novice as well as the learned simultaneously.  All the Rabbi's classes are held in an informal environment with joy and good humor.

Rebbetzin Michla Schanowitz teaches the Shul's courses that are developed by the Jewish Learning Institute. Michla brings a passionate approach to Jewish Education.  A recent honoree the Ida Crown Jewish Academy, Mrs. Schanowitz is dedicated to an open classroom, participatory learning experience.
